We are in for a musical special treat this Sunday! Dominik Franken, violin/viola, and Dan Corcoran, piano, are guest musicians, and they have prepared pieces that range from Bach to Stevie Wonder! As well, we get to welcome two new members! Becky and Geoff Clarke have transferred their membership to Tobermory United, and we will celebrate that this week.
In the sixth Sunday of Easter, we’re still celebrating the resurrected Christ and how the early church, led by the Spirit, surprised itself with its openness way back when. I will offer a story, “Lydia’s Decision.”
Coming up in worship, every Sunday in June is a special Sunday! Please take a look at some of the things coming up – Sheila Peacock and her relationship to land (June 1); the celebration of the 100th anniversary of the United Church of Canada (June 8); Chi-cheemaun Sunday (June 15); Indigenous Day of Prayer (June 22); and Pride Sunday (June 29)! Maybe in July, we’ll just chill…?
